Rigs Are Extremely Important
As players go through each task, they’ll earn XP, which will raise their Threapy Level. When a player gets to Level 2 of Therapy, they will be able to use Rigs. Rigs are special things that can be bought and improved to help a Reagent get through each trial. Right now, The Outlast Trials is in early access, and there are four different kinds of Rigs. With stop, a player can throw an item at an enemy to temporarily stop them and give them time to run away.
Blind is like Stun in that it is used against enemies, but instead of throwing something at them, players can set up bombs that are activated by movement and release a lot of smoke when they go off. For a short time, X-Ray lets you see through walls. This lets you see possible dangers before you run into them. The last Rig is called “Heal,” and it not only heals a player’s health but also the health of close teammates.
Blind Is The Best Rig For Solo Players
The roads just keep getting harder, and you have to use Rigs. Which Rigs a person gets depends on how they play, and when playing on a team. It’s good to have friends with different Rigs so that the team is well-balanced. A player can choose more than one Rig at once. But the best way to use Rigs is to choose one and fully improve it before getting another.
Blind is a great rig for single players, especially when it is upgraded. The Blind Rig gives players more control than the Stun Rig because they can put the bombs wherever they want and then lead enemies to the spot to set it off. No matter what Rig a player chooses, they should set their loadout before going on a trail. If a player doesn’t set their loadout, none of the Rigs they have will work. To change the loadout, use the computer in the Sleep Room and click on the Loadout tab to make a choice.
Don’t Be Afraid To Explore
Getting through the rounds is very important and a must if you want to move forward in The Outlast Trials. Even though hiding and trying to finish each mission quickly seems like the best way to play. Players who don’t take the time to look around will miss out on a lot. Part of Drift Boss game is also collecting proof to show that Murkoff does things that are cruel and against the rules.
If a player looks around during the trials. They will find papers and other things that they can use as evidence. This information also tells a lot about the story. So it’s a bonus for fans of the series who were brave and took the time to search. Evidence can also show where possible escape routes, hidden means, and plans are.
Be Stealthy And Evasive
The players can’t fight any of the enemies, just like in the other games in the series. Only try not to get caught is all they can do. To do well in the trials, you need to be sneaky and avoid getting caught. Players can hide in places like trunks until the enemy gives up looking for them. In each trial, there are also a number of traps set up around the map. Some traps are easy to avoid, like broken glass on the floor or cans that are hung up.
The noise from these two traps will alert any close enemies. Broken glass on the floor can be avoided by either crouching and walking over it or jumping over it totally. With the cans, they can slide them under them to make them quieter. There are also traps that are more complicated. Doors with a red light next to them are traps that shoot a cross at the player and let out gas that drains their sanity. There are two ways to avoid this trap: one is to open the door while squatting, and the other is to open it slowly. By slowly opening the door, players can get a new battery for their night vision goggles and disable it on the other side.
Encountering Enemies And How To Escape
Especially in the later trials, it’s hard to fully avoid enemies. But there are a few things you can do to help you out of a sticky situation. With the X-Ray Rig, you can see enemies through walls. If you didn’t choose the X-Ray Rig, you can still Live Ping enemies to find out where they are and avoid them. This is good for both single-player and multiplayer games. Screamers are one of the most annoying enemies because when they scream. The player is stunned for a few seconds, giving other enemies time to attack.
If you throw bottles or bricks at Screamers, they won’t scream, and they’ll leave the room. If an enemy does see the players, there are ways to get away from it. Based on what kind of enemy it is. In the dark, most enemies can’t see you, so it’s easy to lose them. Try not to hide in places that are easy to find or to stand in the middle of a road they might take. The Night Hunter is an enemy. Who can’t be hidden because he wears goggles that let him see in the dark. But if you bring him into the light, it will make him blind and give a person a chance to escape.
Pushers are a tough enemy for solo players to deal with early on. Because they show up on the map so often and cause Psychosis. Because of this, you should always have a cure on hand.
