Yuna (Final Fantasy 10)
The Sphere Grid method in Final Fantasy 10 is still one of the most unique ways to level up in the series. Instead of just getting a level when you get enough experience points, each character has their own path to follow and fill out with the AP they get after each fight.
Any character can use the Sphere Grid to raise their magic, but Yuna has the most magic growth in the game, which makes sense since she is the White mage and Summoner for the party. Her high magic growth is because she has the most Magic nodes in her personal grid path. This means that Lulu, the Black mage in the group, can also use her path.
Vivi Ornitier (FF9)
Final Fantasy 9’s characters all use the normal leveling system, including the cute little black mage Vivi. This is in keeping with the game’s theme of tradition. Vivi is one of four people in the game who can use magic, and her base magic number is the best in the game. He has a maximum of 62, which is just a single number more than Garnet.
Vivi’s high base magic makes his signature Black magic a real force in battle, especially if the player learns all of Vivi’s possible spells and the flaws of each element. The only bad thing about this is that Vivi is only good at offensive magic, while Garnet is good at both healing and summoning. This makes him a less flexible party member.
Aerith Gainsborough (FF7)
During the first third of Final Fantasy 7, Aerith is the party’s de facto nurse, so she is naturally good at using magic to heal and help the party. With a top magic stat of 100, Aerith could do a lot of damage with magic while also healing the rest of the party.
In the remake of Final Fantasy 7, Aerith is still the main mage of the party, and she even uses her signature staves to cast spells instead of normal attacks. Aerith has a lot of magic power, but she doesn’t have a lot of HP, so players have to be careful when using her in situations with a lot of enemies.
Relm Arrowny (Final Fantasy 6)
Even though Terra and Celes may seem to have the best magic skills in Final Fantasy 6, Relm, Thamasa’s house artist, has the best magic skills. Even though her base magic isn’t as high as some of the other characters in the series, like Vivi and Aerith, Relm’s base magic is the highest in her original game. It was 44 when she was recruited.
The magicite system in Final Fantasy 6 lets any character do magical damage, but players who want to use Relm must arm her with an esper that works with her. Relm’s paintbrushes don’t do much as weapons other than let her use the Sketch order, but they do help her other stats quite a bit.
Hope Estheim (FF13)
Due to the great Crystarium system in the game, any playable character in Final Fantasy 13 can fill most of the parts in the game. So, players can set up the party however they want, which could lead to a balanced spread of stats.
Even though the group can be put together in many different ways, everyone agrees that Hope, an underrated character in the Final Fantasy series, has the highest magic stat in Final Fantasy 13, with a maximum of 1,900. Hope can use every magic trick in the game, which is why everyone agrees he is the best Ravager.
Rinoa Heartilly (Final Fantasy 8)
The Junction system in Final Fantasy 8 lets players improve their party in any way they want, just like in Final Fantasy 13. Even the worst party members can do well in battle if the players connect the right spells to the right stats.
Rinoa has the highest natural magic stat in Final Fantasy 8, even though she is not the worst party member in Funny Shooter game. Even if you don’t count the Junction system and other Magic-boosting items and skills, Rinoa’s spells and Angel Wing limit break are a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Her maximum magic score is 63.
Lenna Charlotte Tycoon (FF5)
Even though leveling up is useful in Final Fantasy 5, the fastest way to improve your stats is to learn each job. But base stats are also important when picking a job. Lenna, for example, has a magic number of 28 by default, which is higher than anyone else in the party.
Lenna will do very well in jobs that involve magic, like Black Mage, White Mage, and Oracle. Because her base magic stat is so high. Lenna can have a maximum magic level of 61 if she levels up in the right way, but the same ways can also be used for the rest of the party.
